Struggling to make ends meet? Single Stop can help!

Single Stop logo

What is Single Stop?
We know that in order to succeed in the classroom, your needs must be met outside of the classroom. Single Stop connects students to local community and government resources for food, healthcare, and other needs. Single Stop is an online screening tool that can estimate in minutes what supplemental resources students might be eligible to receive, like:

  1. Government Benefits (SNAP, WIC, etc.)
  2. Educational Resources
  3. Community Support
  4. Health Insurance Options (Medicaid, health insurance marketplace plans)

It’s available to all students, whether you take classes full-time, part-time, in-person or remotely. Single Stop staff is available to assist students in accessing these resources. To complete the online Single Stop screener, please click here. If you have any questions or need help getting started, email us at [email protected].

Steps to Completing a Single Stop Screener

  1. Go to the website.
  2. Click “Sign Up” or “Let’s Get Started!”: Use your email address or phone number to start the confidential screener.  You will be sent a verification code that will be used to continue the screener.
  3. Fill in your information: Take 5-10 minutes to fill in your information. It will automatically calculate your eligibility.
  4. Submit: Make sure you hit the “send” button. A Single Stop staff member will contact you to discuss resources you may be eligible for.
