Adult Education Programs

Laurel Ridge Community College Adult Education is proud to serve the region with FREE classes that help students improve academic, English language (ESL), and workplace skills. We serve the City of Winchester and the counties of Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, and Warren. Classes are held at local schools, churches, and libraries throughout the region.

Because I had you, that was the biggest reason I had the confidence to keep going, to earn my GED, and to start a great new career!

I started my citizenship in September 2020 and a year later I am a new citizen to this country. I enrolled in the online civics class because I did not just want to become a citizen, but to also learn the history of this country. My teacher, Catherine Gilbert, was an excellent and I learned so much from her.
