Esports
The Office of Student Life & Engagement is developing a competitive esports program!
Opening Spring 2023!
The new esports arena will house 13 gaming PCs and 4 switches. Games such as Rocket League, Overwatch, and League of Legends will be offered. If you would like to be a part of the start-up process, join the Esports Club.
The Esports Club is on the Middletown campus and supports competitive teams as well as recreational participation. Part-time and full-time credit students, dual enrolled students, and alumn who want to play esports or support esports are welcome to join the club. We currently meet for practice every Tuesday in SUB room 120 (the conference room) from 3-9pm. Smash Bros. competitions are held at Gamer Oasis in Front Royal every Thursday at 6:30pm.
For more information, or to expand esports to the Fauquier Campus, join the Discord or contact Angie Schroeder at [email protected]
Sports
All sports are recreational and vary in format. Students are encouraged to start a club sport for any interest that is not represented by the Office of Student Life and Engagement. You can learn about starting a club here.
Intramural sports programs are on hold until there is enough interest to support a program. If you wish to start a program, contact Angie at [email protected]. All participants must have a signed liability waiver before engaging in intramural sports. You may bring the waiver to the activity.
