How to Apply / Use Benefits

  1. Apply and complete all steps: US Navy Education Portal
  2. Provide proof of authorization to Laurel Ridge Veteran Services.
  3. Submit Laurel Ridge Online VA certification request form
    • This form is required each semester
  4. Send military transcripts Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy and Air Force
  5. Make an appointment with
    • Veteran Academic Advisor, Jeanmarie Corrado
    • Military Benefits Official, Sharon Painter
  6. Enroll in courses required for VA approved degree or certificate
  7. Pay fees
  8. Attend and complete the course(s)


  • Tuition Assistance is paid directly to Laurel Ridge
  • Student is responsible for all fees and books.
  • Reductions in enrollment may cause a debt to student
