Many employers offer matching gift programs. To double your impact, please ask your Human Resources Department for more information and/or a matching gift form.

Pledges allow donors to commit to a gift of a specific amount and pay in installments over a five-year period. This enables them to give more generously than otherwise possible.

Memorial Gifts

We sometimes receive time sensitive requests regarding the wording to include in an obituary or funeral announcement. We suggest:  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Laurel Ridge Community College, in memory of ______________, would be appreciated. Please make checks payable to the Laurel Ridge Foundation, 173 Skirmisher Lane, Middletown, VA  22645, or donate online at laurelridge.edu/donate.

If there is an opportunity to meet by phone or in person before the announcement is posted, we would be glad to discuss in more detail how the family would like the Laurel Ridge Foundation to use the memorial donations. For example, there is often an interest in establishing a named scholarship or fund. Please contact the Laurel Ridge Foundation at 540-868-4089 or [email protected].

If we do not receive further direction from the family, the memorial donations will support our Laurel Ridge Fund, and the money will be used to support our most urgent needs.

Create a Scholarship

For many students, a scholarship is the deciding factor between the opportunity to attend college or the need to defer the dream of a college education. For a minimum gift of $1,000 you can fund an annual, named scholarship. Endowed scholarships, which will continue to help students in perpetuity and leave a lasting legacy for your family or organization, require a minimum contribution of $25,000. Learn More.
