“What Were You Wearing” Exhibit – submissions
Friday, March 15 @ 8:00 am - Monday, April 1 @ 5:00 pm
If you are a sexual assault survivor and would like to anonymously share your story with the LRCC community, please submit a description of the outfit you wish to be displayed. Narratives that go along with the outfit are encouraged, but not required. Narratives may range from one sentence to a couple paragraphs and can include information such as your age during the assault, your relationship to the perpetrator at the time, or other details you wish to share. This is YOUR story, so you can write the narrative in whatever form is comfortable for you. Please understand that the displayed outfit may not perfectly match your description, but Phoenix Project will do their best to curate outfits as close to the description as possible.
By submitting your story to this exhibit, you agree to have your outfit/narrative ANONYMOUSLY displayed on campus, with the possibility of it being photographed and posted online. You may request to have your story taken down at any time. Please submit no later than 3/31 to give Phoenix Project enough time to add your story to the installation. For questions regarding this exhibit, please email Aliyha Gill at [email protected].
