Pharmacy Technician Program

Get started today on an exciting career path! The Pharmacy Technician Program is a comprehensive and engaging educational experience designed to equip aspiring pharmacy technicians with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on training necessary for success. This program combines rigorous coursework with practical simulations to prepare students for a rewarding career.
This 185- hour hybrid program will be completed within 12 weeks. The online didactic portion includes graded quizzes, unit exams, a midterm, and a final exam. Students should plan to spend 12 hours a week on the didactic portion. The simulation portion of the program meets 3.5 hours weekly in person and is facilitated and graded by local instructors.
The course prepares students for a national certification exam. Tuition includes all online components, supplies, and the certification exam.
Prerequisites: High School Diploma or GED, minimum age of 18, successful completion of Math and Reading Proficiency Assessment,
a clear Background check through DISA (this is an additional out of pocket expense) and medical clearance from Primary Care Provider
A Workforce Solutions team member will follow up with assessment results and provide guidance on next steps.
