Neighbor Week

Join us in celebrating Neighbor Week, inspired by the kindness of Mr. Rogers and the welcoming spirit of Laurel Ridge Community College! This special week is dedicated to community, generosity, and connection.

Ways to Participate:

Wear Your Jeans & Cardigan – Donate $10 to the pantry and wear your favorite jeans, cardigan, and blue sneakers all week!

March 20 – Mr. Rogers’ Birthday Photo – Wear your cardigan and join us for a group photo to celebrate kindness!

Donate to the TRIO Neighbor Drive:

• • Hygiene Items – Shampoo, toothpaste, soap, etc.
  • Gift Cards – Costco, Walmart, Target, Amazon
  • Sweater Drive – Donate gently used or new clothing
  • Food Pantry Needs – Cooking oils, spices, flour

Donation Locations:

• Middletown Campus – 606 Cornerstone Hall, TRIO Department
• Luray-Page Campus – 2nd Floor, beside the kitchen
• Fauquier Campus – Student Services Office Desk

Perform an Act of Kindness – Small gestures make a big impact!

Write an Encouraging Note – Visit a Kindness Station to share positivity with students, colleagues, or community members. Stations are located in Cornerstone Hall on the Middletown Campus behind the Welcome Desk, and in the front entrance of Wolk Hall on the Fauquier campus.
