CySA+ Prep and Certification (CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst)

 This is a G3 FastForward Grant Program: These programs are short-term training courses resulting in industry credentials for high-demand professions in our region. If you have been a Virginia resident for at least the past 12 months, you may be able to take this class for 1/3 of the full cost (FastForward price) or at $0 cost if you qualify for G3. Are you looking to advance your career in cybersecurity? This program will prepare you to enter the cybersecurity field by teaching you threat and vulnerability management, software and systems security, compliance and assessment, monitoring and security operations, and incident response. Materials and Exam included.
 

It is very fast-paced. An additional 20 hours or more of study time outside class hours will be expected. Students must have reliable internet at home to complete the labs and other assigned homework. Instructors will provide students with all materials and codes on the first day of class. Instructors will also provide students with specific dates and instructions for testing. Individuals should have an advanced understanding of computer skills and knowledge.
