How to Apply / Use Benefits

  1. Initial VA benefit application or update your school on file in the VA system
  2. Submit Certificate of Eligibility to Laurel Ridge Military and Veteran Services, [email protected]
  3. Submit Laurel Ridge VA certification request form
  4. Send official transcripts
  5. Make an appointment with
    • Military Benefits Official, Sharon Painter
    • Veteran Academic Advisor, Jeanmarie Corrado
  6. Enroll in courses required for VA approved degree or certificate
  7. Pay tuition and fees. Effective Fall 2025, students are required to pay in full or have a payment plan in place by the standard posted payment deadlines.
  8. Attend and complete the course(s)
  9. Student must verify school enrollment with VA by phone or online each month

Enrollment Monthly rate*
Full Time (12+ credits) $2438.00
¾ time (9-11 credits) $1829.00
½ time (6-8 credits) $1219.00
Less than ½ (4-5 credits) $527.00
¼ time or less (1-3 credits) $527.00

Financial Information

  • Student is responsible for all tuition, fees and books
  • Effective Fall 2025, students are required to pay in full or have a payment plan in place by the standard posted payment deadlines.
  • Students using military education benefits can also use financial aid (FAFSA)
