Since 2002, nearly 1,300 students have earned an associate degree in nursing from Laurel Ridge Community College. Our graduates make an enormous difference in the health of our communities!
Private Support Critical to Student Success
In May, 65 nursing students graduated from Laurel Ridge. Of those graduates, 38 received scholarships from the Laurel Ridge Foundation totaling $95,000 in support.

Mackenzie Hoover
Within months of her graduation from Laurel Ridge Community College with her associate degree in nursing, Mackenzie Hoover earned her bachelor’s degree from George Mason University.

Alumni can help the college by becoming clinical faculty members. Clinical faculty oversee groups of Laurel Ridge nursing students in certain areas of hospitals and are paid by the college.
