Principal’s Scholarships

A scholarship named in honor of the high school principal is awarded at public high schools in the College’s service region as funding permits. This scholarship recognizes high academic achievers who will attend Laurel Ridge CC. High schools select the recipient and a scholarship application is required by the College. Scholarship awards vary each year based on funding levels and are for tuition and fees only.

College Board Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded in honor of the local College Board to area high school students. These scholarships are competitive based on academic achievement, leadership as demonstrated through extracurricular activities and citizenship. Scholarship awards vary each year based on funding levels and are for tuition and fees only.

Laurel Ridge Community College Career Pathways Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to recognize exemplary high school students enrolled in alternative education programs.

Diversity Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded in order to assist in assembling a student body with a variety of opinions, backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Scholarship awards vary each year based on funding levels and are for tuition and fees only.
