Medical Assistant Program (CCMA)

A Medical Assistant plays a vital role in today’s healthcare industry! In this course, you will gain both the administrative and clinical skills necessary for success in the field. Topics covered include clinical patient care, administrative assisting, anatomy, pharmacology, point-of-care testing, phlebotomy, and EKG placement, delivered through classroom lectures and hands-on labs. All books, supplies, and exams are included in the class. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam. Whether you are starting or looking to enhance your medical career, this course will equip you with the essential skills to thrive in the healthcare industry.

Registered students must attend a required Healthcare Orientation prior to the start of class.
