Lost and Found: Student and Faculty Exhibition

Friday, February 6 @ 5:00 pm 7:00 pm

Hosted by

Discover Lost and Found, a powerful student and faculty exhibition featuring artists from Laurel Ridge Community College and Shenandoah University

This show explores the current state of the arts in our cultural landscape – where appreciation and funding are often overlooked. As support for the arts erodes, creative voices risk being lost. Yet, through resilience and discovery, these emerging artists have found their way.

Join us for an inspiring celebration of creativity, connection, and hope.

Opening Reception: Friday, Feb. 6, 5 –7 p.m.
Location: Shenandoah Arts Council, 128 N. Loudoun St., Winchester, VA 22601

Featuring works that reclaim space for artistic expression and highlight the strength of our arts community.

Large spiral shapes line the foreground like oversized shells. In the distance, a small animal—possibly a fox—stands on the path looking forward. Above the trees, swirling blue and green sky forms a large heart-shaped light that beams down toward the center of the scene.

watercolor painting of a small pavilion with light gray walls and red trim, set in a lush garden. Stone steps lead up to the structure, which has an open doorway and decorative red latticework along the front railings. Surrounding the pavilion are dense green trees and shrubs, with patches of sunlight filtering through. In the foreground, a stone path winds through the grass, flanked by two small stone statues.
