Explore how African Americans experienced Shenandoah National Park during segregation through the newest interactive program, “Life at Lewis Mountain: Shenandoah in the Jim Crow Era.” Beginning with the social and political context of the era, this interactive program takes students through the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s and the struggle to make all of Shenandoah for all people
