Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO)

Become a heavy equipment operator and earn an industry recognized credential. The Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) program was developed to meet the growing employment demands for equipment operators. Students receive hands-on training using simulators, which replicate real-life operating scenarios through rotation-motion platforms and high-resolution 3D displays for excavator and wheel loader equipment.

Program Requirements

Students must be at least 18 years of age upon completion of the program to receive a credential, have some basic computer knowledge to successfully complete the online learning portion of the class, be able to read and write in English and have a basic understanding of math concepts.
