Step 1: Apply for Admission

Identity Verification: In order to provide a safe and secure learning environment, admission to our colleges require that all new credit applicants verify their identity. Applicants will need access to a computer or mobile device that has a camera in order to provide a real-time photo of themself (Liveness Check) and upload a photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, ID Card, etc.).

SUCCESS TIP: Save your assigned Student ID number and MyLaurelRidge username

Dual Enrolled students do not need to reapply. Complete your NEXT STEPS HERE to get started. If you have a career coach, they can assist you in this process.

Past students:

  • 3 years or less – Call for username password 
  • More than 3 years – Reapply

Step 3: Follow personalized next steps which include, but are not limited to: 

Establish your MyLaurelRidge Account.

Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships.

Submit any educational records that apply to you:

Submit your OFFICIAL college transcripts if you plan to transfer in your college credits from a college or university outside of the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). For evaluation of credits from another Virginia Community College school, we do not require official transcripts; please simply complete this form. The VCCS form and all other college transcripts can be submitted electronically to [email protected] or by mail to:
