Early high school graduates are welcome to attend Laurel Ridge in the spring semester, but additional documentation will be needed.

Graduating early from high school with a plan to enroll in the spring or summer semester immediately following graduation? Some students complete high school graduation requirements at the end of the senior year Fall term desire to enroll at Laurel Ridge for spring or summer. Laurel Ridge must confirm high school completion before moving forward in the enrollment process.

Seeking Financial Aid: Students must complete a FAFSA for the current year. Overview of Federal Student Aid Policy: A student enrolled in elementary or secondary school is not eligible for aid from the FSA programs, even if she is simultaneously enrolled in an eligible college program. A student is considered to be enrolled in secondary school if he/she is pursuing a high school diploma or if he/she has completed the requirements for a diploma, has not yet received it, and either he/she is taking college coursework for which his/her high school gives credit or his/her high school still considers his/her to be enrolled there.

In order for Laurel Ridge to confirm high school completion, the student and high school must complete the form below, then return it back to the Enrollment Services Office. Once processed, it will be provided to the Financial Aid Office to determine your eligibility for federal student aid for the upcoming semester.
