What is Academic ESL?

  • Academic English Prep Courses for ESL: Writing/Reading/Grammar/Oral Communications
  • Each course: 3 hours per week
  • Mon. & Wed. or Tues. & Thurs. classes
  • Morning or evening classes
  • In person or live online
  • Fall & Spring: 14 weeks, Summer: 10 weeks
  • Middletown and Fauquier Campus
  • Part-time or full-time
  • In-state or out-of-state tuition
  • Financial aid and scholarships available

What is Free Foundational ESL?

  • FREE classes to adults 18 and over
  • Multi-skill ESL class, 4 hours per week
  • Morning or evening classes
    • 9 – 11 a.m., Mon. & Wed. or Tues. & Thurs.
    • 6 -8 p.m., Mon. & Wed. or Tues. & Thurs.
  • In person and live online
  • Fall & Spring
  • Class locations: the City of Winchester and the Counties of Frederick, Clarke, Shenandoah, Warren, and Page
