Toni R. Settles is an author, literacy advocate, and founder of Well Read Child, an organization dedicated to increasing access to diverse children’s books. A proud Washingtonian and mother of two, she creates stories that celebrate identity, confidence, and imagination. Through books, school book fairs, and community programs, Toni works to ensure every child can see themselves reflected in the stories they read and the dreams they pursue.
