The author, Cheryl Lyon, is retired from designing and making products for museums. Ms. Lyon has a lifetime family connection to Fisher’s Hill; she resides in the Dayton, VA area, where she owns historic the Silver Lake Mill and is actively involved with Rockingham County history. She has written other books(local history,etc).
She will be represented by Hope Brim(retired educator) and Neil Thorne(a professional statistician and analyst); they assisted in the research for this project and book
