Samuel "Skip" Halpern brings a unique perspective to the subject of meaningful work. After studies at Brown University, the London School of Economics and GW Law School, his 45-year career in business, investing, and law has focused on protecting pension, 401k, and health benefits for a wide range of workers– from pro baseball, hockey, and tennis players to broadway stagehands to grocery clerks. He and his wife live in Luray and are very involved in local and regional politics.
