Laurel Ridge Community College Bookstore Raises Money for Campus Food Bank

Laurel Ridge Community College Bookstore is partnering with the Virginia Community College System’s (VCCS) Hunger Project to help raise money for the college’s food banks by accepting customer donations at the register. Follett Higher Education Group will match donations up to $1,000.

Customers inclined to donate may stop by the stores, located at 6480 College Street in Wolk Hall, on the Fauquier Campus, and at 131 Garland Snapp Drive in the Student Union Building, on the Middletown Campus.

Laurel Ridge Community College Bookstore joins 18 other VCCS campus stores accepting donations in-store, where Follett will match donations dollar for dollar, up to $19,000, and $1,000 per institution. Donations will be accepted through Oct. 1.
