Laurel Ridge students and the community at large are invited to Focus on Health: Education, Employment and Wellness Career Fair 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 10 in the Corron Community Development Center on Laurel Ridge’s Middletown Campus.
The fair, an annual event, is designed for those who are looking for a job in the health care field, interested in transferring to a four-year university, or searching for health and wellness services.
Hiring employers who will be at the expo include Valley Health, Winchester Family Health Center, Fauquier Health, Synergy HomeCare, Winchester Medical Center Medical Radiography Program and assisted living facilities.
Representatives from various universities will be available for consultation, including the University of Virginia, Shenandoah University, George Mason University, Old Dominion University and Shepherd University.
Vendors who provide health and wellness services and who have committed to the fair include the Laurel Ridge Food Pantry, The Laurel Center, Our Health, Valley Health Wellness Center and the Laurel Ridge Fitness Center.
All who come to the fair will be entered to win a raffle prize.

Laurel Ridge Community College was known as Lord Fairfax Community College until June 2022. For consistency purposes, the college will be referenced as Laurel Ridge going forward.
