The public is invited to a series of meditation sessions being offered at 2 p.m. Tuesdays in the Bob G. Sowder Library on Laurel Ridge’s Fauquier Campus. The sessions are free and will occur most Tuesdays through July.
Laurel Ridge lab assistant Janet Heisrath-Evans will be leading the sessions, which will start with a brief introduction, followed by 15-20 minutes of guided meditation, and then 15-20 minutes of silent meditation and finally, brief stretching.
While registration is not required, it is suggested that those interested call 540-351-1542 ahead of a session to make sure it is still occurring.
