Employers in the education, banking, law enforcement, construction, and technology fields will discuss job opportunities during the Spring Job Fair at Laurel Ridge’s Warrenton Campus from 4-6 p.m. Monday, March 6.
Workforce Solutions, in partnership with the Piedmont Workforce Network, the Fauquier County Department of Economic Development, and the Virginia Employment Commission, is sponsoring the fair, which will feature 16 area businesses and organizations, including Fauquier Health, Fauquier County Public Schools, Warrenton Police Department, Fauquier County, The Home Depot, Appleton Campbell, Golden Rule Builders, UVA Temps, Gaithersburg Millwork, At Home Care Staffing, Gentle Harvest, Visiting Angels, Miller Brothers Construction, The Fauquier Bank, and Continental
Cloud-computing giant OVH, which is building its U.S. headquarters in Vint Hill, will also be at the job fair.
Workforce Solutions and Continuing Education at Laurel Ridge offer high-quality business, professional development and continuing education courses and credentials relevant to today’s in-demand jobs. Programs are offered year-round at multiple locations and even on-site for employers.
With more than 1,000 courses offered each year, programs range from three-hour workshops to nine-month apprenticeship programs. They’re taught by professionals working in the field.
