2013 - Toxopeus Welcome Center

  • A ribbon cutting ceremony is held for the renamed Toxopeus Welcome Center on the Middletown Campus.
  • The Laurel Ridge Foundation receives a $1.4 million bequest from the estate of Charles Ross. The World War II veteran valued service to country and community. A generous scholarship for students with financial need is established in memory of his son Jeffery. The prestigious Ross Fellowship for Service and Scholarship is also created.
  • Laurel Ridge and Shenandoah University sign a Master of Business Administration articulation agreement, which allows students to earn their MBA in five years.
  • The surgical technology program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education programs.
