Laurel Ridge Community College won numerous awards in the 2015 Virginia Community Colleges Association Excellence in Communications Competition. The awards were presented at the 33rd annual conference in Hampton, VA at Embassy Suites Hotel on October 1, 2015.
The competition was open to 23 community colleges around the Commonwealth. Awards were received in the following areas:
*Newspaper / Magazine Advertising (What’s New Ad – Aaron Riddle / Leslie Kelley) – First Place
*Wild Card (Employee Birthday Card – Aaron Riddle / Ashley Hansen) – First Place
*Postcards (Brady Bunch Postcard – Aaron Riddle/Amber Foltz/Karen Bucher) – First Place
*Brochure (Viewbook Folder Combo – Aaron Riddle) – Second Place
*New Media / Social Media (Bertone Profile – Leslie Kelley) – Third Place
