• Army Tuition Assistance
• Tuition Assistance (TA) only covers the cost of tuition, regardless of which military branch you serve in. Students are responsible for all fees and textbooks.
• Service members should speak with their Educational Services Officer (ESO) or counselor within their military service prior to enrolling at the college.
• Federal TA cannot be used at the same time as Chapter 1606
• TA must be fully approved within ArmyIgnitED portal more than 7 days prior to start of the course.
• TA can be used at the same time as Financial Aid FAFSA

2. Send official transcripts
   • Army
   • All college transcripts
3. Meet with Jeanmarie Corrado, Veteran Academic Advisor, [email protected]
4. Meet with Sharon Painter, Military Benefits Official, [email protected]
5. Submit your Education Path for approval.  How to Guide- Create Education Paths
6. Request TA via ArmyIgnitED
7. Enroll in classes
8. Check Degree progress by reviewing your academic advising report >>MyLaurelridge>>SIS>>My Student Information>> Academic Records>>My Academic Records
9. Submit Laurel Ridge VA certification request form
10. Provide approved TA authorization to Sharon Painter or email to [email protected]
11. Pay balance. TA only pays for tuition. Student is responsible for any fees, software or textbooks.
12. Attend and complete the course(s)

• Tuition Assistance is paid directly to Laurel Ridge
• Student is responsible for all fees, software and textbooks.
• Reductions in enrollment may cause a debt to student
• TA can be used at the same time as Financial Aid FAFSA
