Northern Shenandoah Valley Adult Education offers FREE classes that help adults prepare for GED testing, as well as develop math, reading, and writing skills for employment, career advancement, and post-secondary education.

  • FREE day and evening in-person or online classes
  • Group and individualized instruction in Math, English, Science, and Social Studies
  • FREE GED testing for enrolled students!
  • Work with adults who already have high school diplomas, but need to improve their reading, writing, or math skills in preparation for college.

Register for GED Classes

Register for GED classes in person at the following locations, dates and times. If you would like an online class, please choose the online option below.

Note: Please do not bring children to registration. Registration for in-person classes takes two hours, and it is not necessary to pre-register for in-person classes. 

All classes, including online, must be registered for in person. Those wishing to take online classes must pre-register before coming in to register.
