This class serves as the first level of training in the HVAC craft. Structured as a hybrid class, a combination of online training and live classroom/lab training, students learn the following content: Core Curriculum; Basic Safety; Intro to Construction Math; Intro to Hand Tools; Intro to Power Tools; Intro to Construction Drawings; Basic Comm. Skills; Employability Skills; Introduction to the HVAC Profession; HVAC Trade Math; Copper and Plastic Piping Practices; Soldering and Brazing; Ferrous Metal Piping Practices; Basic Electricity; Introduction to Cooling; Introduction to Heating; Air Distribution Systems. Two textbooks, online access code, and all materials are included. Class schedule provided the first night of class.
