Laurel Ridge is thrilled to again be partnering with the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce on the Chamber Golf Classic. The tournament is Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Caverns Country Club Resort, 910 T.C. Northcott Blvd., in Luray. The proceeds of the event will benefit both workforce initiatives in Luray and Page County, as well as contribute to scholarships for Luray High School and Page County High School seniors planning to attend Laurel Ridge.
“This year, Laurel Ridge is celebrating 20 years of serving the residents of Luray and Page County right in their own backyards through the Luray-Page County Center,” noted Laurel Ridge Marketing Director Guy Curtis, who will be playing on one of the teams registered for the classic. “While golfers will enjoy a fun day in beautiful surroundings, they will also be contributing to our educational legacy. We are honored to be presenting this golf classic in partnership with the Luray-Page County Chamber.
“We encourage other organizations, businesses, friends and even individuals to sign up for the tournament and tee it up for a great cause. Laurel Ridge is a place for everyone, and there’s no better way to give back to the college than spending a day on the course with friends and colleagues.”
Tournament fees are $95 per person, and $300 for a foursome. There will be door prizes, a light breakfast and a catered lunch, a raffle, and various contests throughout the day, including a $10,000 hole-in-one prize.
Learn more and register for the golf classic by calling the chamber at 540-743-3915.
