The Fauquier Campus officially becomes part of Laurel Ridge after the State Board for Community Colleges declares all of Fauquier County as being in Laurel Ridge’s service region.

The college partners with Automotive Industries, Inc., of Strasburg and Triplett Business and Technical Institute on a federally-funded workplace education grant to help employees get the skills needed in a changing workplace and to advance their careers. The $395,000 grant, combined with a 30-percent partner match, makes it a $585,795 venture.
