Samantha Brill, a program manager at Laurel Ridge Workforce Solutions, and Raphael Caballero, an IT instructor, recently appeared on The River’s 95.3’s radio show, The Valley Today to discuss the high demand for data center technicians.
Brill shared how Laurel Ridge Workforce Solutions leaders have visited data centers in the surrounding area to create partnerships and discover how best to grow the program so that it can meet this rapidly growing industry’s needs. Professor Caballero explained what students can expect in the program when it comes to classes and their workload. Brill and Professor Caballero also reminded listeners that data center technician students may be eligible for funding through the FastForward and G3 programs.
