Ways to Give

Direct Gifts

  • Give online at give.laurelridge.edu.
  • Give by phone at 540-868-4089.
  • Give by check, payable to Laurel Ridge Foundation, to Laurel Ridge Foundation, 173 Skirmisher Lane, Middletown, VA 22645.
  • Give an In-Kind donation. Call or email for additional details.

Many employers offer matching gift programs. To double your impact, please ask your Human Resources Department for more information and/or a matching gift form.

Pledges allow donors to commit to a gift of a specific amount and pay in installments over a five-year period. This enables them to give more generously than otherwise possible.

Leave a Legacy with a Planned Gift

A legacy gift can take the form of a bequest in your will, donations of life insurance proceeds, structured gift annuities or trusts, or gifts of assets, such as real estate property or stock. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and our federal tax ID number is 51-0247624.

Visit our planned giving site at https://laurelridgelegacy.org/ for more information.

Employee Payroll Deduction

Laurel Ridge employees can give through payroll deduction. It’s automated and easier than ever to make your contribution—and even small amounts add up fast.

Create a Scholarship

For many students, a scholarship is the deciding factor between the opportunity to attend college or the need to defer the dream of a college education. For a minimum gift of $1,000 you can fund an annual, named scholarship. Endowed scholarships, which will continue to help students in perpetuity and leave a lasting legacy for your family or organization, require a minimum contribution of $25,000. Learn More.

Gifts of Securities

Gifts of appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) can be a tax-efficient way to donate. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and our federal tax ID number is 51-0247624.

We ask that the donor or financial representative contact Wendy Stone at Virginia National Bank and Liv Heggoy with the Foundation to request the DTC number, as well as the account number for Bank of New York (the receiving institution) and Virginia National Bank (the agent bank). It is important that we know the name of the donor, any restrictions on the use of the gift, and the expected date of transfer.
