In collaboration with The Laurel Center\, this exhibition will fill the walls of the Sekel Art Atrium with student and community artwork that honors survivors\, inspires hope\, and calls for change. \n\n\n\nWhy Purple?\n\n\n\nPurple is the color of Domestic Violence Awareness. It symbolizes courage\, survival\, and hope—a visible reminder that domestic violence has no place in our community and that support is available for all survivors. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Exhibit\n\n\n\nThe show will feature original artwork created by Laurel Ridge students and local community members. Through painting\, drawing\, photography\, and mixed media\, artists will use creative expression to spark conversation\, healing\, and action.
