Mural Contest
Monday, August 26 - Friday, October 18
The Office of Student Life & Engagement and the Art department are partnering on a mural project for the Student Life & Engagement offices. We are asking students who are artsy and creative to design and submit mural ideas beginning August 26 through October 18.
The chosen mural design(s) will be created and installed in the Middletown and Fauquier Student Life offices.
Submission Requirements:
- Submit a clear, accurate, digital image
- Any 2-dimensional medium, including drawing, painting, digital, etc.
- Should include Leo, or lions, or be representative of Laurel Ridge
- No size restrictions
- Be colorful, fun, and uplifting
After October 18th, judges will select the best design or designs to become a mural. Once designs are selected, a team of artists and paint parties will be planned to enlarge the design onto Canvas – no painting experience is required for design submissions.
