Spring Job Fair at Laurel Ridge Warrenton Campus Wednesday, April 4

The public is invited to a free job fair featuring representatives from more than 25 businesses, from 4 – 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4 at the Laurel Ridge Warrenton Campus, 6480 College St., Warrenton. A free resume and interview etiquette class, hosted by the Virginia Employment Commission, is being offered from 3 – 4 p.m. The fair is sponsored by Laurel Ridge Workforce Solutions and The Fauquier Chamber.

Participating employers include Appleton Campbell, CDS Tractor Trailer Training, Culpeper Medical Center, Demolition Services Inc., Fauquier County Government, Fauquier County Public Schools, Fauquier Health, Genesis Home Improvement, Long and Foster Real Estate, McCrea Equipment Co., Micron Technology Inc., Moo Thru, My Plumber Heating and Cooling, Payne’s Parking Designs Inc., Powers Farm & Brewery, Puffenbarger Insurance and Financial Services Inc., Ruston Paving Co. Inc., Savory Fare Catering, Shirley Contracting Co. LLC, Superior Paving Corp., TechFlow Inc., Visiting Angels and William A. Hazel.

Workforce Solutions and Continuing Education at Laurel Ridge offer high-quality business, professional development and continuing education courses and credentials relevant to today’s in-demand jobs. Programs are offered year-round at multiple locations and even on-site for employers.

With more than 1,000 courses offered each year, programs range from three-hour workshops to nine-month apprenticeship programs. They’re taught by professionals working in the field.
